We had a wonderful stay here! The house is beautiful, spacious, and has lots of extra touches that made our stay very special. Our group of college friends (+ our kids!) was able to spread out (each family was able to have their own bathroom - so helpful!!), make meals and eat together in the lovely kitchen/ common room space, work out together in the gym!, and have lots of quality time together. Lots of spaces to play board games together. Kids also enjoyed escaping to lower level for foosball - and also private spaces to catch up on work if needed! We especially appreciated the drink bar area to make coffee, keep our beverages cold, or enjoy a cold beer from the tap! Hosts are kind, responsive, and helpful! It is evident that there is a lot of care and intention put into the home - highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my time at this Airbnb. I rented this space to host my bridal shower. The pictures doesn’t do it’s justice. The host was very kind and quick with responses. The house is absolutely beautiful and easily accommodated all eight of our guests which included individual rooms and bathrooms for everyone. James and his co-owners were very responsive, proactive in proving instructions, and very flexible with anything we needed. Every single guest commented on how exceptional the home was and have asked to stay again on any future trip to the area. We could not have asked for a better experience. Excellent home and owner!

James’ home was exactly what we needed—clean, spacious, and in a great location. The check-in process was smooth, and having access to the garage and parking pad made everything easy. The house was well-equipped and comfortable, and James was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

There aren’t enough stars to give to this listing! The pictures are accurate, but the house is somehow even more incredible in person. It is so spacious, thoughtfully designed, high-end finishes at every turn, no detail has been missed. We were a large group traveling for a family wedding, and had a baby and young toddler in tow. There were so many things to make our stay with children beyond comfortable. This property is incredible for families or group of friends alike. Our hosts were also incredibly responsive, kind, and so helpful in helping us prepare for our first trip with kids. There is a queen room on the main floor, which is great for accessibility reasons should that be a factor. We were close to so many amenities, including a short drive to the heart of DC. My only regret is not staying longer! If you are looking at houses in the area, quit your search now and book this place — you will not be disappointed

Our stay in Arlington for a family wedding was perfect and James’ home could not have been better for our needs. Our large party fit perfectly in the house and the large bedrooms and bathrooms allowed everyone to have privacy when they wanted. I have stayed at many Air BnB properties but this was by far the best! All our expectations were exceeded and if we are back in the area this will be our first option for staying again. Thanks James and appreciate the proactive communications.

Beautiful, serene, spacious home. It was a perfect spot for a family gathering. So many cozy spots to sit with family and friends for a cup of coffee or a cocktail. The deck was perfect for a morning wake-up or and evening wind-down. All rooms have large windows with beautiful scenery. Every bedroom is comfortably large and all bathrooms are clean and modern. Ample and lovely bedding and linens. Fabulous kitchen and pantry, wonderfully stocked with small appliances, cookware, bakeware, dishware, and staples. James and Matthew were friendly, responsive, and helpful with any questions we had. Our family—from my 90-year-old mother to my 15 year-old grand niece—gives this home our highest recommendation.

If I could give the Glebe Getaway house 10 stars I would. We hosted our small backyard wedding here. When I tell you that they went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect, I mean it. They were so helpful, responsive, and flexible with our timeline. Just great people all around.
The house itself is stunning and is such a nice place to stay.

Just book it. This was one of the best homes we’ve stayed in—and we’ve rented many. James’s home is beautifully designed, with so much thought put into every detail. And Libby is the best co-host!
